The year 2021 is a significant year for DCI — it marks our 50th Anniversary! We are proud and honored to have cared for patients living with chronic kidney disease over the past five decades. As our mission states, “the care of the patient is our reason for existence.” That has been our motto since the first patient dialyzed at the first DCI clinic on May 24, 1971, and that has remained our motto throughout the years as we have expanded into 28 states with more than 240 clinics. As we continue the celebration throughout the rest of the year, we will share stories of some of the significant milestones that made us who we are today.
