Please join us in celebrating DCI’s Corporate Employee of the Year: Paralegal Patti Bielefeld. Nominated by legal colleagues, Patti is known for her compassion, kindness and willingness to lend a hand during her 14 years at DCI.
Patti is ecstatic to receive the Corporate Employee of the Year award. “I am absolutely thrilled and honored to receive such an accolade,” and true to her humble nature, she emphasized how it wouldn’t have been possible without her team.
Known as the “heart of the legal department” and “the glue that holds the team together,” Patti is sought out for he problem-solving skills and listening ear.
She began her career doing data entry and became a legal assistant before finding her calling as a paralegal.
Patti’s work ethic, grace and dedication make her a trusted person within the legal department and beyond. “People trust her to help, and she meets and exceeds that trust over and over again,” said one colleague.
A natural leader, she’s been integral in creating departmental processes to help everyone work better together.
Patti finds providing support, guidance and reassurance fulfilling. “Knowing that I am helping patients with their needs makes my work feel incredibly rewarding.”
She offers a level head, a kind spirit, critical thinking skills and, most notably, humility, quietly going above and beyond without seeking recognition.
Outside of work, Patti enjoys diving into a good book, listening to podcasts, playing PC games, golfing and spending quality time with her family.
