Sweet and Sour Meatballs
- 2 lb ground beef (prepared as meatballs in usual manner)
- 2 tsp canola oil
- 1/2 c water
- 2.5 c pineapple chunks
- 1/4 c brown sugar
- 2 T cornstarch
- 1/4 c white vinegar
- 3 T low salt soy sauce
- 1 green pepper (sliced)
- 2 onions (thinly sliced)

Saute prepared meatballs in small amount of oil. Add water, simmer 20 minutes.

Drain pineapple, reserve liquid. Combine sugar and cornstarch, add pineapple syrup, vinegar, and soy.

Add misxture to meatballs, cook until gravy thickens. Add pineapple, green pepper, and onion.

Cook 5 minutes. Serve with hot white rice.
