Swedish Cole Slaw

  • 1 large head of cabbage – shredded
  • 1 green pepper – chopped
  • 1 onion – chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
  • 1/2 tsp. celery seed

DRESSING

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. white vinegar
  • 2/3 c. salad oil
  1. Combine all salad ingredients and set aside.
  2. Bring sugar, vinegar and oil to a boil in a saucepan.
  3. Pour hot dressing over cabbage mixture; do not stir until cold.
  4. Cover and chill in refrigerator.
  5. Toss and enjoy.
