08 Aug Dialysis Clinic, Inc., to host open house at new dialysis center in Union
Community is invited to tour the facility and enjoy refreshments on Aug. 18 from 5-7 p.m.
Union, South Carolina—Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) is hosting an open house at its new facility, located at 921 Thompson Blvd., Union, SC, 29379, on Thursday, Aug. 18, from 5-7 p.m. The general public is invited to tour the facility, enjoy refreshments, and celebrate DCI’s 20+ years of service to the city of Union.
The new DCI Union dialysis facility provides 25 dialysis stations, a significant expansion from DCI Union’s old center, which only offered 15 stations. The new facility offers patients a bright and airy atmosphere, new dialysis chairs and free WiFi.
“We are excited to have the additional and much needed space here in Union,” said Brooke Garrett, BSN, RN, Nurse Manager of DCI Union. “We believe that our level of professional care, combined with the comfort and space of this new center, will truly improve our patients’ experience.”
The open house is an opportunity for the community to meet the local staff and learn more about dialysis and kidney disease. Staff from Reach Kidney Care of Spartanburg, DCI’s local chronic kidney disease education program, will also be at the open house to provide education about the early identification of chronic kidney disease and maintaining kidney health. This is the first event at the new facility, Garrett shared, and the DCI staff is eager to share their new building with the public.
“In the last month I’ve seen this new facility truly boost the morale of both our patients and staff,” said Garrett. “Being in our new facility has made a positive impact on all of us, and we hope the community will join us on Thursday to learn more about the services and care we provide to our patients here in Union.”
The new DCI Union dialysis center began serving patients on July 18. DCI Union offers in-center hemodialysis Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. DCI Union is welcoming new patients and patients traveling to the area who may need dialysis.
No RSVP is necessary for this event. For more information, please call DCI Union at (864) 427-8250.
