Why Come to DCI Monroeville?

We are a 23 station Hemo unit and have a growing PD program with all PD options available. A large Rehab/ Exercise Program is supported by a Licensed Physical Therapist and has been active for 3 years. All exercise is done while on dialysis. Monroeville staff support a broad spectrum of patent educational programs as well as holiday activities.

We will be opening a second clinic in Monroeville called Five Points in the fall of 2001. Both units are within a mile of the PA Turnpike and the Parkway access to downtown Pittsburgh and are a short walk from the bus line.

Services

• Monroeville offers 3 M-W-F shifts- the last shift starts at 5:00pm.
  On T-Th-S we offer 2 shifts. (Both will welcome transient patients as schedules permit.)
• A Self-Care program is available with extensive training.
• Reuse is available and optional.
• Internet hook-up can be arranged for the patients' own PCs.
