We provide numerous services such as in-center hemodialysis, CAPD, and CCPD. We feature a well trained staff of RN's, Patient Care Techs and technical staff many of whom are bilingual, speaking Spanish, German, French and Swahili. Our nephrologists are affiliated with the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. Our new building will be ready in the fall of 2001 with 22 stations and 22 brand new machines.

DCI Carlsbad is a part of a group of DCI clinics throughout New Mexico(the fifth largest land area state). Other clinics are located in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Grants, San Fidel, Silver City and Taos.

Carlsbad, located in the southeast corner of New Mexico approximately 275 miles southeast of Albuquerque, is largely a farming and ranching community. Recently, technology has become a large employer in the form of The Waste Isolation Pilot Project (underground tours are available), Los Alamos and Sandia Labs.

Nearby is Carlsbad Caverns National Park (Eat Lunch 750 feet underground!), Guadalupe Mountains National Park (the highest point in Texas, almost in New Mexico), Living Desert State Park, Brantley Lake and Red Bluff Lake. Carlsbad is called "an oasis in the desert" with the Pecos River flowing through town allowing fishing, swimming, boating and water skiing. Carlsbad also has 2 18 hole golf courses and in the winter 1st class snow skiing in Ruidoso and Cloudcroft.
